The petitioner–A1 apprehends arrest in Cr.No.185of 2013 of Tadikonda Police Station, Guntur Urban,registered for the offences punishable under Section498-A IPC and Section 8 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
Heard learned counsel appearing for thepetitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutorrepresenting the respondent-State.
Specific allegations attracting the ingredients ofSection 498-A IPC have been made against petitioner-A1 with regard to harassment of the de factocomplainant for additional dowry.
In that view of the matter, I am not inclined to grantanticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
