Heard learned counsel appearing for thepetitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutorrepresenting the respondent-State.
Earlier this Court while refusing to grantanticipatory bail to the petitioner, specifically held thatsince there is no reference to the petitioner in the FirstInformation Report and the apprehension of thepetitioner that he would be arrested by the police anddetained him illegally seems to be unfounded, I am notinclined to take a different view even though theremaining accused were granted bail by the Courtbelow.
Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
