Writ Petition No.26252 of2006BetweenP.L.V.Prasad..Petitioner ANDThe Land Acquisition Officer and Special Collector,..RespondentsKadapa District and others:: JUDGMENT ::Counsel for the petitionerSri T.Ramesh Babu for Sri SrinivasaRao BoddulluriCounsel for respondentsGovernment Pleader for LandAcquisition 29.12.2006

Per G.S.Singhvi, CJ

In this petition, the petitioner has prayed for quashing order dated17.9.2006 passed by the Lok Adalat, Kadapa whereby a direction has beengiven for payment of compensation in relation to house property bearingNos.74 and 82 in Yellampet Village and Rangayapalli Village, RajampetMandal, Kadapa District to respondent Nos.4 to 6.

Sri T.Ramesh Babu, learned counsel for the petitioner says that hisclient has instructed him to withdraw the writ petition.

In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, thewrit petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.33715 of 2006filed by the petitioner for grant of interim relief is also dismissed.

While dismissing the writ petition and the miscellaneous petition, weare tempted to observe that if the learned counsel had not prayed forwithdrawal of the writ petition, the Court, after taking cognizance of theunsavory averments contained in paragraph 3 of the writ petition in which thepetitioner has tried to cast aspersions on the character of none else than hisown father, would have saddled him with exemplary costs.
