ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code ofCriminal Procedure, 1973 (for short ['Cr.P.C.') ]by the [petitioners-]Accused Nos.2 to 7 to quash the [proceedings ]against them inC.C.No,286 of 2022 [pending ]on the file of XXV MetropolitanMagistrate at Ibrahimpatnam, Ranga Reddy District. The offencesalleged against them are under Sections 498-4, 504 and 506 readwith 34 of Indian Penal Code (for short "IPC").
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners-Accused Nos.2 to 7and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent - State.Perused the record.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners confined his prayer todispense with the [personal ]appearance of the [petitioners ][- ]AccusedNos.2 to 7.
4. Thus, having regard to the facts and circumstances of thecase, the attendance of the petitioners - Accused Nos.2 to 7 isdispensed with in C.C.No.2B6 of 2022 pending on the file of Xff To Metropolitan lYagistrate at ibrahimpatnam, Ranga Reddy District,when represented by their counsel on record. The altendance of thepetitioner Nos.2 to 7 is dispensed with subject to filing affidavits bythem stating that in their absence the proceedings conducted bytheir counsel will not be disputed by them in any manner and alsothey shall not dispute their identity. However, the petitioners shallappear before the learned Magistrate as and when their presence isrequired. In the event of the petitioners failure to appear when theCourt directs, this order dispensing their attendance would standcancelled.
5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Needless tosay, in the event of the petitioners fitingan application underseeking discharge, the concerned Court shall dispose it of on meritswithin a period of four (04) weeks.
Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
