Writ Petition No.21511 of 2010

ORDER: (Per the Hon’ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan)

The relief sought for in the writ petition is to declare the action of the respondents in allotting 30% seats under the management quota, which according to the petitioners, should not exceed 15%.

Sri S.Niranjan Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners, would submit that while the cause in the writ petition does not survive, the question of law may be left open for adjudication, if need be, in appropriate legal proceedings.

Leaving the question of law open to be decided, if need be, in appropriate legal proceedings, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
