Per G.S. Singhvi, CJ

This is an appeal for setting aside order dated 24-10-2005 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P.M.P.No.29239 of 2005 (W.P. No.22821 of 2005) whereby he rejected theappellant’s prayer for setting aside of orders dated 05-02-2005 and 26-09-2005passed by District Collector (Panchayat Wing), Karimnagar and PrincipalSecretary to Government (Panchayat Raj and Rural Development) respectivelyunder the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 in the matter of theappellant’s suspension from the post of Sarpanch.

After arguing the case for some time, learned counsel for the appellantsubmitted that his client will feel satisfied if the Court issues a direction torespondents 2 and 3 to complete the enquiry pending against him within aspecified time-frame.

Learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development saysthat enquiry pending against the appellant will be completed within a maximumperiod of four weeks from today.

In view of the statements made by the learned counsel for the parties, we donot consider it necessary to go into the merits of the order of the learned SingleJudge or the orders impugned in the writ petition and dispose of the appeal with a direction that the enquiry pending against the appellant shall be completedand appropriate order passed by the competent authority within a period of fourweeks from today.

Learned Counsel for the appellant says that W.P. No.22821 of 2005 filed by his client challenging order dated 26-09-2005may also be disposed of in similar terms. Ordered accordingly.
