ORDER:

The petitioner claims to be owner and possessor of open plot admeasuring 216.66sq. yards situated in Survey No.103 of Boduppal village, Uppal Mandal, RangaReddy District, having acquired the same from his father. It is stated that during hislife time, the father of the petitioner has made an application dated 05.11.2003 to thesecond respondent-Panchayat Secretary seeking permission for construction of aHouse in the said plot and due to ill-health the father of the petitioner could notpursue the matter and died on 25.5.2004. The grievance of the petitioner is thatsubsequent to the death of his father, he made another application dated 15.06.2004to the 2[nd] respondent-Panchayat Secretary seeking permission for construction of aHouse in the plot in question, but no action has been taken so far. Hence, he filedthe present writ petition.

Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader forPanchayat Raj. Both counsel agreed to dispose of the writ petition at the admissionstage.

Since the representation of the petitioner dated 15.06.2004 is said to bepending consideration before the 2[nd] respondent - Panchayat Secretary, withoutgoing into the merits of the matter, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petitionwith a direction to the 2[nd] respondent-Panchayat Secretary to consider the sameand pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law within a period of twomonths from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of at the admissionstage. No costs.
