THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE BILAL NAZKIWRIT PETITION NO.11494 OF 1996

This writ petition was filed by the petitioner seeking direction tothe respondent to fix his initial pay suitably in the category of SecuritySub-Inspector in the pre-revised scale of pay. Nobody appears for thepetitioner. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the writpetition has become infructuous in view of the fact that the petitionerretired from service under a voluntary retirement scheme with effectfrom 06-02-2001 and his claims have already been settled.

In this view of the matter, the writ petition is dismissed as havingbecome infructuous. No order as to costs.
