ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Certiorari to quash awarddated 10.09.1998 passed in I.T.I.D.(c)No.14 of 1995, by respondentNo.1, whereby the reversion of Sri T.Ranga Rao, Head Assistant(cash) to the post of Senior Assistant (cash) was set aside.
Heard Sri P.Srinivasa Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner, and perused the record. There is no representation for respondentNo.2.
A perusal of the proceedings sheet shows that this Court whileadmitting the Writ Petition in the year 1999, ordered notice. It is,therefore, evident that there was no interim order staying the award. Though definite information is not available with regard to the age of Sri T.Ranga Rao, from the fact that the said employee was appointedas Clerk in the year 1974 and 38 years elapsed therefrom, it isreasonable to presume that he would have already retired fromservice.
The writ petition is, therefore, dismissed as infructuous withoutgoing into the merits of the case.
As a sequel to dismissal of main petition as infructuous,WPMP.No.7110 of 1999 filed by the petitioner for interim relief isdismissed.
