ORDER:
WRIT PETITION No. 17464 of 2008
This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ ofMandamus declaring the action of respondents in deducting thecrop insurance premium from the crop loans released and to bereleased to the member of the petitioner-Sangam at the rate of1% to 12% towards crop Insurance premium in the Khariff andrabby seasons 2008 to 2009 as illegal and arbitrary.
Inasmuch as the writ petition relates to rebate that issought to be deducted for the crop year 2008-2009 andconsidering the fact that pending disposal of the writ petition thisCourt by order dated 12.08.2008 directed the respondents not todeduct the crop insurance premium from the crop loansreleased and to be released to the members of thepetitioner-sangam, no further orders need to be passed in this writ petition.
Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No order as tocosts. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if anyshall also stand closed.
