The appellant has filed the present appeal against the respondent challenging the order dated 08.07.2026 passed by the respondent under section 14B and 7Q of the Employees Provident Fund & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 (hereinafter referred as ‘the Act’). The office has reported the appeal is filed within time.

Ms. Santwana Agarwal, Advocate for the respondent has appeared. Copies of the appeal and stay application supplied to her. The case is adjourned to 19.11.2026 for filing of reply to the stay application as well as to the main appeal.

In the meantime, the respondent shall not take any coercive steps to recover the amounts due under the impugned orders till the next date of hearing.
