The appellant has filed the present appeal against the respondent challenging the order dated 23.06.2026 passed by the respondent under section 14B and 7Q of the Employees Provident Fund & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 (hereinafter referred as ‘the Act’). The office has reported the appeal is filed within time.

Sh. Kamal Kant Jha, Learned counsel for the respondent has appeared and filed vakalatnama. Copy of the appeal supplied to him. The case is adjourned to 08.01.2027 for filing of reply to the main appeal.

In the meantime, the respondent shall not take any coercive steps to recover the amounts due under the impugned orders till the next date of hearing.
