The appellant has filed the present appeal against the respondent challenging the orders dated 11.12.2025 passed under section 14B and 7-Q of the Employees Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 (hereinafter referred to as the Act) whereby the respondent had directed the appellant to pay Rs.23,07,190/- as damages and Rs.16,13,766/- as interest amount under the Act.

As reported by the office the appeal is within time.

Reply to the main appeal be filed by the respondent on or before 24.03.2026. In the meantime, the respondent shall not take any coercive steps to recover the amounts under the impugned orders from the appellant till the next date of hearing.
