AWARD
1. This is an application under Section 2-A of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (hereinafter referred as ‘the Act’). The claimant claims to have worked with the management up to June’2016 and the last drawn salary were Rs.7,500/- per month. She had worked hard, honestly, diligently and to the entire satisfaction of the management. She was not issued any appointment letter, wages slip, leave wages book etc. despite her verbal requests. Consequent upon her demand, the management got annoyed and terminated her services w.e.f. 01.07.2016 without any rhyme or reason. As such she made prayer that she be reinstated with full back wages.
2. Management No.2 did not file written statement. Hence, it was proceeded ex-parte. However, Management no.1 appeared and filed the rebuttal written statement. After that, the claimant as well as her AR stopped appearing in the tribunal to substantiate his claim.
3. Hence, in these circumstances when the claimant seems uninterested in pursuing the case and not been appearing for so long, this Tribunal has no option except to pass the no dispute award. No dispute award is passed accordingly. File is consigned to the record room. A copy of this award is hereby sent to the appropriate Government for notification under section 17 of the I.D. Act, 1947.
