1. The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the D.P.C. for promotion to the post of Chief Development Officer was convened on 24.10.2025, in which the name of the petitioner was recommended for promotion, however, on the basis of charge sheet submitted on 4.11.2025, the consideration for promotion of the petitioner has been kept in a seal cover. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that in identical facts and circumstances relating to the same promotion, this Court in the case of Prem Prakash Tripathi vs. State of UP and others, Writ A No. 18421 of 2025, on 2.2.2026 has allowed the writ petition and has issued direction to open the seal cover and consider the name of the petitioner for promotion on the post of Chief Development Officer pursuant to the recommendations of the D.P.C. on 24.10.2025 within six weeks.

2. Instructions provided by learned Standing Counsel are taken on record.
