1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State and perused the record.

2. The instant writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 14.08.2026 passed by respondent no. 3.

3. Contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner was earlier terminated by order dated 21.07.2012 which was challenged by the petitioner in a writ petition wherein an interim order was granted to the petitioner and later on the said writ petition was dismissed in default and the restoration application is pending, therefore this order has been challenged in this petition.

4. Since the earlier petition in which interim order was granted to the petitioner has been dismissed in default, the original order passed terminating the services of the petitioner has came into force, and therefore, no relief can be granted to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner that the petitioner may pursue his relief in the earlier writ petition after getting the same restored.
