1. Heard Sri Ankit Sharma learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel for the respondent.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has questioned the order of the Regional Passport Officer granting re-issuance of the passport which is valid for a period of one year.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute that petitioner is facing criminal trial being case crime no. 0121 of 2024, under Sections 323, 504, 506 and 376-D of IPC, P.S. Chaurakhas, District Kushi Nagar.
4. In the circumstances, petition stands governed by the judgment of this Court in the case of Mohammad Munna v. Union of India and 5 Others, Writ C No. 37529 of 2026, decided on 18th September, 2026.
5. Petition is accordingly disposed in terms of the aforesaid judgment of this Court.
