HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD APPLICATION U/S 529 BNSS No. - 4416 of 2026 Court No. - 82 HON'BLE JAI PRAKASH TIWARI, J. Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A for the State as also perused the record. This application under Section 529 BNSS has been filed seeking direction to the court concerned to expedite and decide the Sessions Trial No. 203 of 2014 (State vs. Pappu Chauhan and others), arising out of Case Crime No. 622 of 2013, under Sections 147, 148, 323, 308, 504, 506 IPC, Police Station Badlapur, District Jaunpur, pending before the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge/Special Judge (E.C. Act), Jaunpur, expeditiously within stipulated period. It is submitted that the charge-sheet in the subject case was filed on 23.07.2013, whereupon the learned court concerned took cognizance thereof on 22.11.2013. Thereafter, on 13.01.2015, the learned court concerned framed charges against the accused persons under the aforesaid sections. It is further submitted that the present proceedings have remained pending for more than ten years, despite the framing of charges on 13.01.2015. The continued non-appearance of opposite party no. 2 and the consequent prolongation of the proceedings are causing undue harassment and prejudice to the applicant. The applicant submits that such inordinate and unexplained delay in the conclusion of the trial, which has been pending since 2013, is violative of the applicant's right to a speedy trial. Looking to the aforesaid circumstances, it is directed that trial pending Versus Counsel for Applicant(s) : Sudeep Dwivedi Counsel for Opposite Party(s) : G.A. Chandani @ Roshani Chauhan .....Applicant(s) State Of U.P. And 7 Others .....Opposite Party(s)

before the concerned court be concluded expeditiously, as early as possible, preferably within six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, in accordance with law, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, if there is no legal impediment. The application is disposed of. October 6, 2026 Brijesh NA529 No. 4416 of 2026 2 (Jai Prakash Tiwari,J.) Digitally signed by :- BRIJESH KUMAR High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
