HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - C No. - 38815 of 2026 Court No. - 1 HON'BLE AJIT KUMAR, J. HON'BLE GARIMA PRASHAD, J. Petitioner raises a pure family dispute in the petition and seeks a writ in the nature of mandamus to a private respondent not to interfere in the personal life and liberty of the petitioner. In our considered view, petitioner has forum available by way of common law remedy or instituted a criminal complaint, if so advised. No writ can be issued against a private party. Hence we decline to grant indulgence in the matter. Petition is consigned to records with the aforesaid liberty.
