In para no. 6.8 from the facts of the case/appeal, appellant has specifically mentioned that the assessment has been done in respect of the period 06/1998 to 01/2014 and he had filed the certain documents in this respect for tracing the facts. However, on perusal reply, it is found that it is an evasive reply and does not give any answer to the specific query. It is also an amazing fact that within three month of the issuance of the notice order has been passed. Let this matter be listed for hearing on 12.09.2025. In the meanwhile, respondent department is directed to trace the record. Respondent department is also directed to ensure the presence of his counsel on the next date of hearing.
