1. When this case was called for hearing, no one is present for the petitioner neither in the first call nor in the revised call, however, Shri Badrish Tripathi, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel is present on behalf of the State-respondent(s).
2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking quashing of the impugned order dated 08.08.1988 passed by the respondent no.3- Bhumi Sanrakshan Adhikari, Hardoi and consequential relief has been sought to treat the petitioner in continuous service.
3. Apparently, it seems that the petitioner is a daily wager and has although filed the present petition way back in the year 2005, but no interim order has been passed. It is transpired from the order sheets that the petitioner has not appeared since the year 2010. Today also when the matter is taken up in the revised list, no one was present from the side of the petitioner and it seems that he has lost interest in prosecuting the present writ petition.
4. Learned counsel for the State has submitted that it seems that the relief sought in the present writ petition have become infructuous and that is why there is no representation from the petitioner's side. Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Akhlaq Ali, Pt.S.Chandra Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C Radha Sharan Tripathi .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P.Through Its Secy Agricultur .....Respondent(s)
5. Be that as it may, since no one has appeared since the year 2010 and today also there is no representation by the petitioner or his counsel, therefore, the present petition is being dismissed for want of prosecution.
6. Needless to say, petitioner is granted liberty to revive the present petition in accordance with law, if the cause survives. December 19, 2025 Praveen WRIA No. 7144 of 2005 2 (Abdhesh Kumar Chaudhary,J.) Digitally signed by :- PRAVEEN KUMAR High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench
