The contention of learned counsel for the petitioners is that despite there being no FIR lodged against the petitioners rather an FIR No.0435 of 2025 dated 07.11.2025 has been lodged at Police Station Beniganj, District Hardoi against the brother of the petitioners, namely Kaushal yet the respondent authorities under the garb of the aforesaid FIR are harassing the petitioners.

3. Responding, learned AGA on the basis of instructions sent by Mohd. Fahim Khan, Sub-Inspector, Beniganj, Hardoi dated 16.12.2025 states that as the FIR has been lodged against the real brother of the petitioners they were called for questioning in order to ascertain the whereabouts of the brother of the petitioners and the girl, who has gone missing. Learned AGA further states that the petitioners are not being harassed in any manner.
