The counter affidavit filed by the State is taken on record. As per the counter affidavit, the appellant, Kamlesh @ Bade, died on June 6, 2020. In support of this fact, a death certificate issued by the Village Pradhan has been annexed. Since this is a Criminal Appeal and the sole appellant has died, the appeal abates under the general principles of criminal jurisprudence. Consequently, it has become infructuous.
