The present petition has been filed for the following main relief:- "issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari to quash the impugned order dated 21.11.2025, passed by the Police Commissioner, Police Commissionerate, Lucknow, i.e. opposite party no.2, in Case No.05 of 2025; State Versus Avnish Singh Chauhan, under section 14 (1) of Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, relating to the Police Station- Thakurganj, District- Lucknow, as contained in Annexure no.1 to this writ petition." Taking note of the remedy available under U.P. Gangster and Anti Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986 (in short 'Act of 1986') including Section(s) 15, 16 and 18 of the Act, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present petition at this stage. Accordingly, it is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail the remedy as available under law.
