1. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State counsel for opposite parties.
2. The present petition has been filed seeking the following main relief:- "(i). issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite party No.1 i.e. Principal Secretary/Additional Chief Secretary, Home (Police Anubhag-1), Uttar Pradesh Government, Lucknow to take decision on the representation dated 5.9.2025 filed by the petitioner before him, under the provision of Rule 25 of the Uttar Pradesh Police Officers of the Subordinate Rank (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1991, within stipulated time period."
3. Since the aforesaid representation is pending consideration, opposite party no.1 i.e. Principal Secretary / Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Home, U.P.
