As per the office report, the sole appellant in the present appeal, Awadhesh Kumar Sharma, has died. In this regard, a compliance report has been received from the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Bahraich, vide letter dated 19.10.2024, which encloses the following documents in verification of the appellant's death: Sworn statement (Bayan) of S.I. Dhirendra Kumar (P.S. Bhaundi). Sworn statement (Bayan) of Satyaprakash (Son of the deceased appellant). Sworn statement (Bayan) of Raghushyam (Village Pradhan) along with the Death Proof/Report. Sworn statement (Bayan) of Surendra Singh (Village Resident). General Diary (G.D.) report of P.S. Bhaundi, District Bahraich. Upon perusal of the enclosed reports and statements, it is confirmed that the sole appellant, Awadhesh Kumar Sharma son of Permanand Sharma, a resident of Bamnoti Shakarpur, P.S. Bhaundi, District Bahraich, died on 07.08.2024. Since the sole appellant in this criminal appeal has died, the appeal stands abated as per law.
