1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Varun Pandey, who appears on behalf of the Respondent nos.1 and 2.
2. This petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers:- "i) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing to opposite party no.2 i.e. the Regional Passport Officer, Regional Passport Officer, Lucknow, to decide the Representation dated 31.10.2025 submitted by the petitioner.
ii) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing to opposite party no.2 i.e. the Regional Passport Officer, Regional Passport Officer, Lucknow, to correct the date of birth in the petitioner's passport bearing No. R6775660 from 01.01.1974 to 01.01.1998, in consonance with the petitioner's Birth Certificate, Aadhaar Card and other identity documents.
iii) to issue any other order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem just, fit and proper under the circumstances of the case.

3. Shri Varun Pandey, appears for the Respondents who says that the Representation made by the petitioner cannot be considered as correction of Date of Birth can only happen after the applicant files an application in the Prescribed Format as given on the Portal Online.
4. This petition is finally disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to apply on the Prescribed Format as available on the Online Portal.
