HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD LUCKNOW WRIT - C No. - 11664 of 2025 Court No. - 2 HON'BLE MRS. SANGEETA CHANDRA, J. HON'BLE AMITABH KUMAR RAI, J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel who appears on behalf of State - respondents. This petition has been filed with the following main prayers :- "(i) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari for quashing/ setting aside the impugned order dated 20.12.2019 contained in Annexure no.1 to this writ petition.

(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding to the opposite party no.2 to consider and take a decision on representation / appeal dated 29.08.2025 to the higher authority that is District Level Committee/ District Magistrate, Sultanpur and regarding the claim of the petitioner pay the insured amount with 18% interest in the interest of justice which is annexed as Annexure No.8 to this writ petition." It appears that the claim of the petitioner under the 'Mukhyamantri Kisan Avam Sarvhit Bima Yojana' has been rejected on 20.12.2019 as having been filed with delay of 7 months and 22 days from the death of the deceased. This writ petition itself has been filed after six years of the order dated Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Janendra Kumar Verma, Deepak Kumar Verma Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. Nasima .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. Thru. Commissioner And Secy., Board Of Revenue, Lko. And Others .....Respondent(s)

20.12.2019. We find no good ground to grant the second prayer as made in the writ petition. Writ petition is dismissed on the ground of unexplained delay.
