HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD LUCKNOW WRIT - C No. - 11139 of 2025 Court No. - 2 HON'BLE MRS. SANGEETA CHANDRA, J. HON'BLE AMITABH KUMAR RAI, J. This writ petition has been filed with the following prayers :-

(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to opp. party no.1 to to reopen the petitioner's Customer Care ID No.UP17481806731, Business Correspondent A/C No.50079212518 for running the customer care center which has been provided by the opp. party no.6, in the interest of justice.

(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing to the opp. party no.1 to 6 to decide the representation dated 10.09.2025 of the petitioner contained as Annexure No.10, in the insterest of justice. Since we could not make any sense from the prayer clause, we have gone through the pleadings and we have heard the counsel for the parties. It appears that General Manager, Finance Inclusion Department, Head Office, Indian Bank, Chennai, had engaged some private company by the name of i25 Rural Mobile Commerce Services as corporate business correspondent for Allahabad Bank for carrying out financial inclusion activity under Branchless Banking Scheme for Allahabad Bank. Such corporate business correspondent had in turn engaged the petitioner temporarily for the purpose of acting as i-Mitra (FBC), and such engagement being temporary in nature has been terminated as one Self Help Group by the name of Sangam Self Help Group, which was working in Village Panchayat Banjariya, Police Station Rehra Bazar, District Balrampur, having a savings account in Indian Bank Branch at Rehra Bazar, had Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Govind Kumar Chourasia, Mohd. Kashif Rafi Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C., Gopal Kumar Srivastava Kaushal Kumar Sharma .....Petitioner(s) Distt. Magistrate Distt. Balrampur And 5 Others .....Respondent(s)

complained of embezzlement of Rs.1,35,000/- from its savings bank account. The Adhyaksh of Self Help Group, Smt. Seema Devi, had lodged F.I.R. on 27.04.2025 in Case No. 055/2025 under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 I.P.C. at Police Station Rehra Bazar, District Balrampur, against two persons, Ram Babu Gupta and Sunil Tiwari. Both the accused, in connivance with each other, had got transferred an amount of Rs.1,35,000/- from the savings bank account of Self Help Group into the account of Ram Babu Gupta. The petitioner, who appears to be an i-Mitra and was responsible for such Branchless Banking Scheme to be made effective, was also involved in such transfer. We do not find any good ground to show interference as the writ petition itself is not maintainable, as the petitioner has been engaged by a private company by the name of i25 Rural Mobile Commerce Services, which in turn has been engaged by Allahabad Bank as corporate business correspondent to carry out financial inclusion activity under Branchless Banking Scheme. The writ petition stands dismissed as not maintainable. December 5, 2025 Ashish Dewal WRIC No. 11139 of 2025
