HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD LUCKNOW CRIMINAL MISC. WRIT PETITION No. - 11365 of 2025 Court No. - 11 HON'BLE ABDUL MOIN, J. HON'BLE MRS. BABITA RANI, J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the respondents-State.

With the consent of learned counsel appearing for the parties, the writ petition is finally being disposed of. By means of the instant writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for quashing of the History Sheet No.1722A opened by the respondent No.2 in relation to the FIR dated 22.06.2007 bearing Case Crime No.452 of 2007 at Police Station Ramkot, Sitapur. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in this regard, petitioner may be permitted to move a representation before Superintendent of Police, Sitapur i.e. respondent No.2 and prays that he may be directed to decide the representation in accordance with law under relevant rules within a fixed time frame to which learned A.G.A. has no objection. Considering the aforesaid, without entering into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of leaving it open to the petitioner to move a representation for his grievance before the respondent No.2 within a period of 2 weeks along with a certified copy of this order. In case a representation is moved, the competent authority shall proceed to decide the representation in accordance with law under relevant rules within a period of four weeks from the date the representation is made.
