1. Heard Ms.Chitrangada Narayan, Advocate holding brief of Mr. Anurag Narain, learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel for opposite parties.
2. Petition has been filed challenging order dated 23.09.2025 whereby his representation for transfer from Varanasi to Deoria on Group 'C' post has been rejected.
3. Learned counsel for petitioner has drawn attention to the impugned order itself to submit that apart from Deoria, petitioner had submitted representation giving three other options, namely, Maharajganj, Sant Kabir Nagar and Kushinagar on the ground of serious ailment of his wife, but the impugned order has been passed only with regard to option provided regarding Deoria without any consideration of other three options.
4. Learned State Counsel has been provided written instructions dated 25.11.2025, a copy of which is taken on record, which however does not also indicate any discussion with regard to other options submitted by petitioner.
5. In view thereof, opposite party No.2 is directed to re-consider petitioner's representation with regard to posting in the aforesaid three districts.
