1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. This petition has been filed with the following prayers :- "(i) To issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite party no.2 to decide appeal no.05/2020-21 (Dewan Sugars Ltd., Agwanpur, Moradabad ..Vs.. Cane Commissioner Uttar Pradesh and others) filed under Section- 15(4) of the U.P. Sugarcane (Regulation of Supply and Puchase) Act, 1953 expeditiously within such time frame as the Hon'ble Court deems fit in the circumstances of the case.
(ii) To issue any other writ order or direction deemed just and proper in the circumstances of the case.
(iii) To allow the writ petition with costs."
3. Shri Jai Prakash Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner, on the basis of instructions, states that the appeal has already been decided and the writ petition has become infructuous.
4. The writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
