ORDER:

The Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the Respondents in not taking further action pursuant to the Proceedings dated 31.08.2026 vide Memo No.3035639/DV&Vig(2)2025, revoking the suspension of the Petitioner dated 24.01.2026, as illegal and arbitrary.

2. The Petitioner is working as District Fisheries Officer. On 24.01.2026, the Petitioner was suspended from service on account of the allegations of misappropriation of the amount. Thereafter, a Charge Memorandum was also issued to the Petitioner. As the Enquiry was completed, the Petitioner and the persons similarly placed had sought for revocation of suspension. Thereupon, the Respondent No.1 vide Proceedings dated 31.08.2026 directed the Commissioner of Fisheries to undertake a review of suspension of the Charged Officers in terms of G.O.Ms.No.22 GA (Ser.C) Department, dated 29.02.2024. As no further action is being taken, the present Writ Petition is filed.

3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that the case of the Petitioner will be examined by the Respondent Authorities and the decision thereon would be communicated to the Petitioner.

4. Heard the learned counsels.

5. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission, with the following directions:

i) The Respondents are directed to review the suspension of the Petitioner in terms of G.O.Ms.No.22 GA (Ser.C) Department, dated 29.02.2024 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this

Order.

ii) There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
