CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 3995 of 2024 The Court made the following Order:

Instant Criminal Petition, under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed on behalf of the petitioners herein (A1 to A4), seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C No.5582 of 2018 on the file of IV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada, for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A of Indan Penal Code, 1860 and Sectiions 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

2. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, basing on the written instructions, submits that pending the Criminal Petition, police filed charge sheet and the same was numbered as CC No.5582 of 2018 on the file of learned IV Additional chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada and in the said Calendar Case, the petitioners got acquitted vide Judgment dated 29.07.2024. He also furnished a copy of eCourts case status.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has not disputed the submission made by learned Assistant Public Prosecutor.

4. Copy of the written instructions dated 18.09.2026 Inspector of Police, Mahavaram PS, Vijayawada along with eCourts case

status copy in CC No.5582 of 2018 on the file of learned IV Additional chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada is made part of record.

5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is closed.

Interlocutory applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
