ORDER:

This contempt case is filed against the respondents for willful disobedience of the interim order dated 19.10.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.No.27650 of 2023. The operative portion of the said order is extracted hereunder:

“…Considering the submissions made and on perusal of the material on record, there shall be interim direction to the respondents to continue the petitioner in service in the present post, pending further orders...”

2. However, it appears that on 27.11.2023 itself, the Executive Engineer, T.W.Seethampeta, i.e., the sole contemnor has passed a speaking order informing the petitioner that it is not possible to consider the petitioner for continuation of his service till completion of 62 years as per the guidelines of G.O.Ms.No.26, Finance (HR1-Plg & Policy), dated 19.02.2019 and common judgment of Hon’ble High court of AP. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the main writ petition itself is pending for adjudication.

3. In view of the above circumstances, the Contempt Case is closed, leaving it open to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings dated 27.11.2023 in the main writ petition, if at all he has any grievance. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this case shall stand closed.
