CRIMINAL PETITION No: 1950 of 2024 The Court made the following Order:
Instant Criminal Petition, under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed on behalf of the petitioners herein (Accused), seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR in Crime No.288 of 2023, of Disha UPS Police Station, Visakhapatnam Commissionerate District.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor basing on the written instructions, states that, pending the Criminal Petition, the police filed charge sheet and the same was numbered as CC No.1782 of 2025, on the file of the learned I Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Visakhapatnam and the same was settled before the Lok Adalat vide Award dated 13.12.2025 before the learned I Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Visakhapatnam .
3. Lok Adalat Award dated 13.12.2025 of the learned I Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Visakhapatnam is made part of the record.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners has not disputed the submission made by learned Assistant Public Prosecutor.
5. Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is closed, as the main case before trial Court was settled by the respective parties.
As a sequel, Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
