ORDER:
Heard Sri Rajesh Matcha, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.B.Amrutha, learned Central Government Counsel for the respondents.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner’s Aadhar card by No7159 2127 3499 has been suspended under proceedings dated 24.09.2025, without issuing any prior notice, on the alleged ground of biometrics mismatch. He further submitted that a representation dated 25.06.2026 has been made by the petitioner and petitioner is ready and willing to cooperate with the purported enquiry with regard to biometric mismatch. He further submitted that it would suffice if a direction is given to the authorities to consider and dispose of the petitioner’s representation in a time bound manner, accordingly, prayed to pass appropriate orders.
3. On the other hand, learned Central Government Counsel submitted that the authorities have an intention to adjudicate on the petitioner’s representation and the writ petition can be disposed of in the said lines.
4. Taking the submissions of the both the learned counsel into consideration, as the relief sought is innocuous wherein a direction was sought to the respondents to dispose of representation of the petitioner and the respondents have an intention to adjudicate on the petitioner’s representation, there is no purpose in keeping the writ petition pending inviting counter, as such, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition by passing the following order:
“The respondents are directed to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner’s representation dated 25.06.2026 for restoring the Aadhar if required by providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible within a period of two
(02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.”
5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed. _____________________________
