ORDER:
Respondent No.2 filed two petitions in I.A.Nos.1 of 2026 and 2 of 2026 seeking permission to compound the case on the ground that they have settled the disputes out of court and accordingly, entered into memorandum of understanding. Respondent No.2 has appended memorandum of understanding/settlement as well as joint memo.
2. Petitioners 1 to 3 as well as respondent No.2 are present. Heard them personally. Compared their names and details.
3. Respondent No.2 submitted that she is the de-facto complainant who gave report to the police and due to marital disputes, she gave that report and subsequently, they settled the matter out of court so as to settle the disputes amicably.
4. Perused the petitions, supporting accompanying affidavits as well as memorandum of understanding/settlement. As seen from the both the petitions, both parties have settled their disputes amicably.
5. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, respondent No.2 as well as learned Assistant Public Prosecutor.
6. Having considered the submissions made by the respondent No.2 and learned counsel for both parties, this court is of the considered view that permission may be granted to both parties to compound the matter as the main dispute is settled out of court amicably. Compromise memo and memorandum of understanding/settlement shall form part of record. Accordingly, I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2026 are allowed.
SUN, J Crl.P.No.5239 of 2022

In the result, and in view of the settlement between both the parties, this criminal petition No.5329 of 2022 is allowed quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.3154 of 2021 pending on the file of the learned II Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada against the petitioners/accused Nos.2, 3 & 5 of the offence under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
