Heard Sri Prabhu Nath Vasireddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development appearing for respondent No.1, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning appearing for respondent No.2, Smt. Sireesha Rani Vallabhaneni, learned Standing Counsel for Municipalities appearing for respondent Nos.3 to 5 and Sri K.Mallikharjuna Moorthy, learned Standing Counsel for Housing appearing for respondent No.6.

2. The grievance of the petitioner in the instant writ petition is against the action of the respondents in not releasing the amount of Rs.6,84,242/- payable to the petitioner for execution of the work i.e., Construction of RCC Slab Culvert to Jagan Anna Colonies at Nelapadu-1 Layout in Tenali Municipality, the instant writ petition is filed.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, Sri K.Mallikharjuna Moorthy, learned Standing Counsel for Housing appearing for respondent No.6 has placed before the Court a copy of the written instructions received from the District Head-Housing (FAC), Guntur. A perusal of the same would reflect that the gross amount as claimed is Rs.7,54,241/-, after deduction of Rs.1,82,058/- the net amount payable to the petitioner is admitted as Rs.5,72,183/-.

4. Having regard to the above as Rs.5,72,183/- is an admitted amount, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents to release the admitted bill amount of Rs.5,72,183/- to the petitioner within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
