THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE MAHESWARA RAO KUNCHEAM CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 7146 of 2025 The Court made the following Order:
Instant Criminal Petition, under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed on behalf of the petitioners herein (A2 to A5), seeking to quash the proceedings in CC No.571 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Darsi.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor basing on the written instructions of states that, pending the Criminal Petition, CC No.571 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Darsi was settled before Lok Adalat vide Award dated 13.12.2025.
3. Copy of e-Court Status of CC No.571 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Darsi is made part of the record.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners has not disputed the submission made by learned Assistant Public Prosecutor.
5. Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is closed, as the main CC itself was settled before Lok Adalat.
Interlocutory applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
