THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE MAHESWARA RAO KUNCHEAM CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 682 of 2025 The Court made the following Order:

Instant Criminal Petition, under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed on behalf of the petitioners herein (A1 to A5), seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR in Crime No.133 of 2024 of the Penumur Police Station, Chittoor District.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor basing on the written instructions of states that, pending the Criminal Petition, police filed charge sheet in FIR in Crime No.133 of 2024 of the Penumur Police Station, Chittoor District and the same was CC No.462 of 2025 on the file of the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate-cum-Special Mobile Court, Chittoor District, was settled before Lok Adalat vide Award dated 13.12.2025.

3. Copy of e-Court Status of CC No.462 of 2025 on the file of the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate-cum-Special Mobile Court, Chittoor District is made part of the record.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners has not disputed the submission made by learned Assistant Public Prosecutor.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is closed, as the main CC itself was settled before Lok Adalat.

Interlocutory applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
