THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE MAHESWARA RAO KUNCHEAM CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 1864 of 2025 The Court made the following Order:

Instant Criminal Petition, under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed on behalf of the petitioners herein, seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR in Crime No.276 of 2024 of Gokavaram Police Station, East Godavari District.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor basing on the written instructions of states that, pending the Criminal Petition, police filed charge sheet in Crime No.276 of 2024 of Gokavaram Police Station, East Godavari District and the same was numbered as CC No.629 of 2026, on the file of III Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Rajamahendravaram and the same was settled before Lok Adalat vide Award dated 14.03.2026.

3. Copy of e-Court Status of CC No.629 of 2026, on the file of the learned III Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Rajamahendravaram, is made part of the record.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners has not disputed the submission made by learned Assistant Public Prosecutor.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is closed, as the main CC itself was settled before Lok Adalat.

Interlocutory applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
