CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 8544 of 2025 The Court made the following Order:

Instant Criminal Petition, under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed on behalf of the petitioner herein (A3), seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR in Crime No.20 of 2025 of Kadapa I Town Police Station, Kadapa District, for the offences punishable under Section 61(2), 318(4), 316(2), 316(5), 336(3) and 240 r/w 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

2. At the stage of admission, this Court has not granted any interim order in the instant lis.

3. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondent-State on written instructions submits that the police referred the FIR in Crime No. 20 of 2025 of Kadapa I Town Police Station, Kadapa District as “Civil in Nature” vide RC.No.206/SDPO-KDP/2026, dated 30.06.2026 issued by the concerned authority.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner also acceded to the submission made by learned Assistant Public Prosecutor.

5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is closed, as the main criminal case itself was referred as “Civil in Nature”. However, it is made clear that all the remedies are left open to the respective parties to proceed, in accordance with the law.

Interlocutory applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
