CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 4386 of 2024 The Court made the following Order:
Instant Criminal Petition, under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed on behalf of the petitioners herein (A1 and A2), seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.2779 of 2022 on the file of the III Additional Metropolitan Magistrate at Vijayawada, for the offences punishable under Sections 427, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
2. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, basing on the written instructions, submits that pending the Criminal Petition, police filed charge sheet and the same was numbered as CC No.2779 of 2022 on the file of the III Additional Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada and in the said Calendar Case, the petitioners are convicted vide Judgment dated 14.12.2024.
3. Copy of eCourts case status of C.C.No.2779 of 2022 on the file of the III Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada dated 14.12.2024 is made part of record.
4. Learned counsel for petitioners has not disputed the submissions made by learned Assistant Public Prosecutor.
5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is closed.
Interlocutory applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
