CRIMINAL PETITION No.1664 OF 2024 The Court made the following Order:
Instant Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure (Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023), has been filed on behalf of petitioners herein (Accused), seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR in Crime No.36 of 2024 of Bathalapalli Police Station, Sri Satya Sai District, for the offences punishable under Sections 307 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
2. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondent-State on written instructions submits that the police referred the FIR in Crime No.36 of 2024 of Bathalapalli Police Station, Sri Satya Sai District as “False” vide Final Report dated 02.04.2026 of Sub Inspector of Police, Bathalapalli Police Station.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners also acceded to the submission made by learned Assistant Public Prosecutor.

4. Copy of written instructions of Sub Inspector of Police, Bathalapalli Police Station, Sri Sathya Sai District, is made part of record.
5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is closed, as the main criminal case itself was referred as “false”. However, it is made clear that all the remedies are left open to the respective parties to proceed, in accordance with the law.
Interlocutory applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
