The Court made the following Order:

Instant Criminal Petition, under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed on behalf of the petitioners herein (A1 to A5), seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR in Crime No.62 of 2024, of Disha UPS Police Station, Anakapalli District, for the offences punishable under Section 85 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor basing on the written instructions states that, pending the Criminal Petition, the police filed charge sheet and the same was numbered as CC No.781 of 2025, on the file of the Court of the Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Chodavaram and the same was settled before the Lok Adalat vide Award dated 13.09.2025 before the learned III Additional Civil Judge (Junior Division)-cum-XIII Additional Judicial Magistrate, Anakapalli.

3. Lok Adalat Award dated 13.09.2025 of the learned III Additional Civil Judge (Junior Division)-cum-XIII Additional Judicial Magistrate, Anakapalli is made part of the record.

4. No representation for the petitioners.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is closed, as the main case before trial Court was settled by the respective parties.

Interlocutory applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
