ORDER:

The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the charge memorandum dated 08.08.2026 vide Rc.No.3357961/FW-E2/2026-1, as illegal and arbitrary.

2. The petitioner is working as State Gold Chain Officer. While so, a charge memorandum was issued against the petitioner under Rule 20 of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (CCA) Rules, 1991, wherein two Articles of Charge were framed against the petitioner, along with Annexure-III containing the list of documents were relied upon by the respondents. The only ground alleged by the petitioner is that the documents specified in Annexure-III were not furnished to the petitioner to give his statement of defence.

3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-I would submit that the list of documents would be furnished to the petitioner before commencement of the enquiry and before insisting for filing of statement of defence.

4. Considering the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to furnish the list of documents specified in Annexure-III to the impugned charge memorandum dated 08.08.2026 before proceeding with the enquiry. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, Interlocutory Applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
