ORDER: (per Ravi Nath Tilhari, J)

Heard Sri M. Vijaya Kumar, learned Senior Counsel, representing Sri Manoj Kumar Bethapudi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Shaik Sahedaz, learned counsel, representing Sri T.Niranjan, learned Deputy Solicitor General of India appearing for the respondent Nos.1 and 2.

2. With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties and considering the nature of the dispute involved in the present writ petition, we are also of the view that the matter can be disposed of at this stage, accordingly the petition is being disposed of finally at the admission stage.

3. The petitioner is the applicant in O.A.No.583 of 2026.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that O.A.No.433 of 2026 relating to the petitioner’s retirement benefits is pending before the Central Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad (Tribunal in short). He further submits that another O.A.No.583 of 2026 is also pending before same Central Administrative Tribunal with respect to an enquiry directed to be initiated on the applicant/petitioner.

5. The submission advanced is that in O.A.No.583 of 2026, the Tribunal issued notice to the respondent; admitted the petition and directed the listing of the matter on 14.08.2026 for completion of pleadings. Thereafter on 14.08.2026, the matter had been fixed for 17.09.2026. The petitioner’s interim relief matter is pending which is not being considered though the petitioner has urgency.

6. In the aforesaid facts, the O.A.(s) being pending before the Central Administrative Tribunal, at this stage, we are not inclined to consider the petitioner’s interim prayer on merits, but in our view, it would be appropriate to issue direction to the Tribunal to consider the interim relief matter in the pending O.A.No.583 of 2026, on the next date fixed i.e. 17.09.2026 or if it is not so possible on that day for unavoidable reasons, to consider the interim prayer, expeditiously, but within a further period of two (02) weeks from 17.09.2026, and decide in accordance with law.

7. The direction is accordingly issued to the Central Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad.

8. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.

9. It is clarified that we have not observed anything on the merits of the matter either way.

No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall also stand closed. ____________________ RAVI NATH TILHARI,J
