CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 8010 of 2024 The Court made the following Order:

Instant Criminal Petition, under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed on behalf of the petitioners herein (A1 to A6), seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR in Crime No.205 of 2024 of Ongole I Town Police Station, Prakasam District, for the offences punishable under Sections 329(4), 115(2) and 351(2) read with 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

2. No representation for the petitioners.

3. On the other hand, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondent-State, basing on the written instructions dated 22.08.2026, submits that the police have referred the FIR in Crime No.205 of 2024 of Ongole I Town Police Station, Prakasam District as “insufficient evidence” vide C.No.281/Refer/SDPO/2026.

5. In view of the submission made by learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is closed.
