CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 9579 of 2025 The Court made the following Order:

Instant Criminal Petition, under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed on behalf of the petitioners herein (A1 to A5), seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR in Crime No.53 of 2025 of Podili Police Station, Prakasam District, for the offences punishable under Sections 85 read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

2. No representation for the petitioners.

3. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondent-State, basing on the written instructions dated 24.08.2026, submits that the police have filed a charge sheet in FIR in Crime No.53 of 2025 of Podili Police Station, Prakasam District and the same numbered as CC No.385 of 2025 on the file of the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Podili. He also furnished a copy of charge sheet before this Court.

4. Written instructions dated 24.08.2026 is made part of the record.

5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is closed by granting liberty to challenge the charge sheet, in accordance with the law.

Interlocutory applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
